It is with sincere regret that we need to announce that, due to an unforeseen set of circumstances, the conference element of the International Festival of Childhood (IFC2017), that was scheduled to take place in Bath at the end of June, will not now take place.
There is enormous expert and public interest in the issues impacting child wellbeing and we are greatly indebted to the wonderful number of speakers that had offered their time to the event. We will continue to seek innovative ways that we can share their thoughts and work.
If you would like to stay informed about these activities you can register your interest here.
You can follow the work of the Save Childhood Movement on www.savechildhood.net. National Children's Day UK (NCDUK) is an SCM initiative and this year takes place on Sunday 14th May.
The ‘Forest of Imagination’ Contemporary Arts Event, which was aligned with the Festival, will still be going ahead, so the city will be hosting a magical array of free activities for families and children over the 4 days. We hope that you will want to come!
If you have already purchased conference tickets we will be in touch to offer full refunds. Enquiries can be made at firstname.lastname@example.org
